Christmas Eve 2008

Music Pick = Here Comes Santa Claus

Gwen hosted the traditional Christmas Eve feast at her house. We dined on a tasty 4-foot sub sandwich. Karen brought red Jell-O with applesauce and the added zip of red hots, Missy brought the traditional red punch, and we made a double batch of hot potato salad (a favorite for Bill and I). For dessert we had Four Layer Dessert (or Barbershop) and peppermint ice cream. No one had to do a ton of preparation, and the meal was delicious!

Caden and Alec kept retreating to the
kitchen to steal chips. This time I
caught them in the act!

It's great to have Karen and Warren
back from their mission. We missed
them last year!

Back home at the ranch . . .

The kids opened presents from one
another. One of Alec's most desired gifts
was a carton of eggnog all to himself. Jaden
came through for him!

Jaden wouldn't tell David what he
wanted for Christmas, so he received
a "Panama Princess Barbie"

The kids all sleep in Jamie's room on Christmas
Eve (a tradition started years ago by Danielle).
For some reason, Dani and David didn't join in
this year. Newlyweds!!!
